La giovane Haru, dopo aver salvato un gatto dall'essere investito, riceve la visita di alcuni strani gatti parlanti che la invitano nel Paese dei Gatti, dove riceverà una ricompensa per il suo atto di coraggio e generosità. Ma la ricompensa si scoprirà essere quella di dover sposare il Principe dei Gatti, e di trasformarsi anche lei in un gatto!
