Nel 1966 Paco, un placido insegnante, decide di trasferirsi in Almeria per conoscere John Lennon, l'idolo della sua vita che lì sta girando un film. Durante il viaggio, Paco incontra Belén e Juanjo, una giovane ragazza che sembra in fuga da qualcosa e un sedicenne scappato di casa. Spinti dai sogni e dalla libertà, i tre continuano il viaggio insieme all'insegna del divertimento, lasciando pian piano emergere cosa sono disposti a fare pur di raggiungere i loro obiettivi.
