Un gruppo di studenti americani compie un viaggio in Irlanda dove un loro amico vuol far fare loro un'esperienza unica, portandoli in una foresta per consumare in gruppo dei funghetti allucinogeni. Quella che doveva essere un'esperienza di sballo collettivo si trasforma però presto in qualcos'altro, qualcosa che sfugge completamente al loro controllo e dove il confine tra realtà e allucinazione si fa estremamente labile e sfuggente. E terrificante.
