Un gruppo di cinque giovani amici decide di concedersi qualche giorno di relax e divertimento partendo insieme alla volta di un vicino bosco, dove è situata la baita del cugino di uno dei ragazzi. Con il passare delle ore, però, qualcosa di orribile e mostruoso comincia a palesarsi sotto i loro occhi, costringendoli a una lunga lotta per la salvezza contro chi li ha condotti fin lì con l'intento nascosto di rompere gli equilibri dell'ambiente circostante e punirli.
